We have succesfully developed a fully Ipad / Ipod / Iphone compatible Date Picker javascript tool.
This addon on will be rolling out as a default on all of our software for the new year's release candidate.

As always our tool is also non javascript compatible!
If your user's browser does not support or allow Javascript, the picker tool page can be accessed and the date can still be picked to a user friendly calendar selector!
